On Wednesday, June 18, 2014, Advisen hosted the P&C industry’s first-ever Cyber Risk Awards presentation at a dinner at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. With each day, another insured is hacked, breached, and/or threatened via some Cyber Risk exposure. Also, a new insurer enters the fray with a fresh policy, another broker wades into the mix, and another tech vendor steps up to offer a new angle of defense. Advisen tracks pricing transactions, loss events, policy wordings, and cyber news. Now we’ve added a “People’s Choice” approach to designate the leading authorities in this incredibly fast-growing segment by leveraging Advisen’s list of over 35,000 P&C professionals who care about Cyber Risk. Hundreds joined us on June 18 for a gala event to recognize those firms and individuals who are guiding and shaping this space as determined by you and your P&C colleagues who care most about Cyber Risk. Awards were given for the following categories:
- Cyber Risk Industry Legend
- Cyber Risk Event Response Team
- Cyber Risk Innovation of the Year
- Best Cyber Risk Team
- Cyber Service Vendor the Year
- Cyber Public-Private Partnership Initiative of the Year
- Best Cyber Risk Broking Team
- Best Cyber Risk Insurer
