Circulation Increased by 20%; Open Rates Surpass 35%
At a time when many news publications are struggling, Advisen today announced new readership milestones have been achieved by its flagship publication, Front Page News (FPN). Both circulation and open rates are up for FPN Pro and Digest, with circulation increasing by 20 percent year-over-year, and open rates increasing by 23 percent. In addition, Advisen’s FPN Cyber edition (formerly Cyber Risk News Byte) has seen circulation increase by more than 30 percent.
FPN is now received by more than 150,000 P&C risk and insurance professionals, and the open rate is now 35 percent for FPN Pro and Digest.
“We view the dramatic growth in our FPN circulation and open rates as a huge endorsement of the value that our editorial team brings to our P&C readership,” commented Advisen CEO Bill Keogh. “Our mission is to put the right information into the right hands at the right time to power performance. It is clear that FPN is one way we are achieving that goal.”
FPN subscribers will now also benefit from exclusive content written by Advisen’s editorial team, led by veteran editor, Chad Hemenway. The editorial team is attuned to the issues of importance to insurance professionals, and have unparalleled access to industry leaders. Hemenway’s editorial team has access to Advisen’s proprietary loss database of more than 300,000 cases, events, or actions, and more than 3 million commercial insurance transactions to leverage when investigating and illustrating significant industry trends and developments.
“As a journalist, I find it very exciting to have so much data at our fingertips,” said Rebecca Bole, Advisen senior vice president responsible for all editorial products. “With these data resources, our reporters are able to bring readers insights simply not available anywhere else. We use our journalist resources to uncover ‘why it’s happening’, not ‘what is happening’. This approach is a game-changer, and the readership metrics reflect that differentiation.”
FPN readers will also notice substantive changes in format, as well as look and feel, to improve the reader experience, both on desktop and on mobile devices.
