NEW YORK, June 4, 2019 — Advisen Ltd., the leading provider of data, media, and technology solutions for the commercial property and casualty insurance market, announced a new leadership structure for the Company. Dr. Ron Adiel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, replacing Bill Keogh who is stepping down from his role as Chairman & CEO.
As part of the new leadership structure, Jeffrey M. Cohen has been appointed President, and James Willison, currently Managing Director of Advisen’s wholly owned subsidiary, Web Connectivity Limited (WCL), will assume an additional role of Executive Vice President of Advisen.
Dr. Ron Adiel joined Advisen in February 2018 in the dual role of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Data Division. His prior experience includes data science, analytics and strategy leadership roles at AIG, Guy Carpenter, and Time Inc. As CEO, Ron will direct Advisen’s strategy and execution as the company continues on its profitable growth trajectory. “Our mission is to combine our data – the deepest proprietary specialty data in the industry – with our media and technology assets, to deliver compelling solutions which directly address customer needs and delight our clients,” said Adiel.
Jeffrey M. Cohen joined Advisen in 2003, and has served in various sales & marketing leadership roles within Advisen’s Data and Media divisions, most recently as EVP, Global Business Development. As President, Jeff will lead Advisen’s client expansion initiatives and commercial partnerships, managing all client-facing as well as Media and marketing resources. “Advisen’s data and media offerings provide unique value and actionable insights to the largest community of commercial insurance professionals, and I look forward to working with Ron and the management team as we propel this business to new heights,” commented Cohen.
James Willison joined Web Connectivity in 2006 where he now oversees the global business as Managing Director. Under James’ leadership, WCL has grown significantly and has expanded its presence in the US and Bermuda. James is now taking on the additional role of Advisen EVP to enhance the synergies between WCL, Data and Media under the broader Advisen umbrella.
Under Bill Keogh’s four year tenure as CEO, Advisen grew all three business divisions and enhanced the company’s strategic focus on core products while strengthening its organizational structure and recruiting top talent. Advisen is grateful to Bill for all of his contributions.
