NEW YORK — (June 17, 2021) – Top performers in the cyber risk industry were celebrated at Advisen’s eighth annual Cyber Risk Awards, held via a virtual broadcast. This dynamic annual event toasts and roasts the best of the best in cyber.
Three individuals and 12 companies were recognized, including Patrick Costello of Evolve MGA, Graeme Newman of CFC Underwriting, and Kelly Butler of Marsh Australia, who were selected by voters as Cyber Risk Industry Persons of the Year in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, respectively. Winning companies included Beazley as Cyber Risk Insurer, Munich Re as Cyber Risk Reinsurer, Johnson, Kendall & Johnson as Cyber Risk Retail Broker, and INSUREtrust as Cyber Risk Wholesale Broker.
Additionally, Advisen’s 45 Cyber Commissioners selected AmWINS / Crum & Forster CyberUP as the Cyber Risk Disrupter of the Year with the greatest impact.
Lastly, Advisen’s editorial team, led by Managing Editor Chad Hemenway named Brad Gow of Sompo International this year’s Cyber Champion.
