Advisen Announces First Management Liability Award Winners

NEW YORK— December 2, 2014 – R-T Specialty’s Kevin LaCroix, Allied World’s Ed Moresco, and Hiscox’s Chris Warrior mla-trophy-350x250were each named Management Liability Person of the Year for USA, Bermuda, and Europe respectively, at the P&C industry’s first-ever Management Liability Awards presented by Advisen Ltd., the single source solution for insurance intelligence.

Award nominees and winners were determined by people’s choice voting. Twenty-eight people and 55 companies were nominated for at least one award. Over 17,000 P&C professionals including underwriters, brokers, risk managers, and insurance buyers, claims handlers, and attorneys were invited to participate, and several thousand voted. Nominees and winners were recognized and applauded at an evening gala emceed by Travelers’ Jeff Klenk at the Grand Hyatt in New York.

Additionally, the first annual “Executive Risk Network Company of the Year” was awarded to The Hartford in recognition of The Hartford’s Management Liability thought-leadership and advancements in data analytics. This award – determined by Advisen’s Editors – is named for Advisen’s forthcoming Executive Risk Network launching in February 2015 that focuses on the confluence of Advisen’s Management Liability data & proprietary news.
