Jeff Schermerhorn has joined the leadership team of Lockton’s Cyber Technology Practice as vice president.
Schermerhorn will offer clients tailored programs to shelter them from the increasing threat of cyber attacks.
Schermerhorn will focus on customizing professional liability and cyber liability insurance programs for clients. Specializing in comprehensive reviews of clients’ E&O and cyber liability exposures, he will produce tailored solutions in the most robust and cost-effective manner possible.

Prior to his position at Lockton, Schermerhorn served as vice president, National Cyber Liability and E&O practice for Marsh & McLennan Companies. Previously he was product counsel in US specialty division/professional risks for CNA Insurance, and he has served as corporate attorney in California.
Schermerhorn holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, earned his juris doctor from the Chapman University School of Law, and achieved his MBA in finance and technology from the New York University Stern School of Business.
Schermerhorn will be based in Lockton’s Los Angeles office.
